Overview
Applications are accepted via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and filled through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).
Consistent with our philosophy of growth mindset, the UW Boise Internal Medicine Residency is interested in helping to improve the application process and experience for all residency applicants. For the 2027 ERAS® cycle, our program will be participating in the supplemental ERAS application offered through the AAMC’s ERAS program so that we can help to provide feedback on this pilot project. Applicants to UW Boise Internal Medicine will be required to complete the MyERAS application, and participation in the supplemental ERAS application is optional.
We offer twelve categorical internal medicine positions (NRMP # 1172140C0) and four preliminary internal medicine positions for candidates going into other specialties after the PGY1 year (NRMP # 1172140P1).
Our program is participating in the Voluntary Rank Order List Lock Pilot for the 2027 Main Residency Match. We’ll share dates for second looks as they become available.
